THE CAPSULE

Cellulose Acetate, Decoded: Why We Built Meera Capsule Around It

Pick up a hair clip from a pharmacy and a hair clip from a heritage maker. They might look similar at first. They feel completely different — and that difference is almost always about the material. The hair clips and combs we make are produced from cellulose acetate. It's a natural-origin polymer made from cotton and wood pulp, refined through a process more than a century old, and it's still — by some distance — the most considered material you can use for a hair tool.
